Student Voices
Gain professional experience, mentoring, and leadership skills while contributing to meaningful projects focused on healthy relationships and family violence prevention.
Through our academic placement partners, The University of Western Australia and the McCusker Centre for Citizenship, interns support initiatives including The HOPE Report, social media, events, and practical support projects assisting The Salvation Army’s work with women and children rebuilding their lives.
Participation in an internship with the Path of Hope Foundation provides students with the opportunity to:
• Develop practical experience within a community focused setting.
• Understand professional responsibilities and civic contribution in practice.
• Apply and strengthen transferable skills that support community impact.
• Build deeper awareness of social issues, including healthy relationships and family violence prevention.
• Develop professional connections and expand their networks.
• Explore how their knowledge, skills, and interests can contribute to meaningful work beyond graduation.
