National Comfort Kits & Kitchen Starter Packs

A Nationwide Movement Made Possible by Hancock Prospecting

Following our national launch, Rotary Path of Hope—with foundational support from Hancock Prospecting and Hancock Iron Ore, led by Executive Chairman Mrs. Gina Rinehart AO—has rolled out 499 Evening Kits and 189 Kitchen Starter Packs across every Salvation Army family violence refuge in Australia.

While this major national gift supplied all 189 refuge units and 499 beds nationwide, local Rotary Clubs and supporters are now invited to keep these essential supplies topped up so no family ever enters recovery empty-handed.

The Two-Stage Relief Model

When a mother and her children escape a crisis, they often arrive with nothing. We support them through every step of their journey:

Evening Kits (Immediate Emergency Relief): Provide brand-new comfort essentials for the critical first hours at a refuge, restoring dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
Kitchen Kit (Sustainable Recovery): Supply essential household items to help women and Children prepare meals, establish daily routines, and build the practical groundwork for transitioning into independent homes.

What’s Inside a Kitchen Kit?

Every item is intentionally chosen to give a family a complete, fully functional kitchen from day one:

Basic Appliances: Microwave, Air Fryer, Rice Cooker, Slow Cooker, Sandwich Maker, Kettle, and Toaster.
Cookware & Utensils: Pots, non-stick pans, knife sets, chopping boards, mixing bowls, and cooking utensils.
Tableware & Dining: Dinner sets, mugs, glassware, cutlery, and tablecloths.
