Translating research into action to break the intergenerational cycle of family violence.
The HOPE Report is an annual research publication produced by student interns from the University of Western Australia (UWA) and McCusker Centre for Citizenship through our HOPE Internship Programme. Guided by Rotary and Friend of Rotary mentors, these reports explore key data, regional policy, support networks, and community-driven solutions to inform advocacy and drive tangible support for women and children.
Driven by Student Innovation: Interns undertake rigorous research to map crisis resources, analyze support frameworks, and identify critical gaps in domestic and family violence prevention.
Building Practical Community Tools: Insights from The HOPE Report directly inform Path of Hope initiatives, including our Global Helpline Registry and tailored refuge support projects.
Fostering Future Leaders: The programme empowers university students with hands-on research experience while instilling a lifelong commitment to social change and community service.
